One Sim Racing at our college! We’re delighted to announce the arrival of two simulator racing rigs, sparking the launch of a thrilling new lunchtime club led by our motor vehicle students.
Throughout the week, students have been engaged in exhilarating competition on Gran Turismo, pitting their skills against the world’s finest racers. We’re proud to crown Myles as this week’s One Sim Racing champion, boasting the best lap time among our talented participants. His impressive achievement places him within the top 2.6% globally.
Reflecting on his victory, Myles shared, “I am really chuffed with my lap. The Sim Racing project is awesome. It’s obviously a lot of fun but with a real competitive edge. The simulator also helps us put some of our curriculum content into context. It really helps us see the difference car set up can make to the vehicle performance.”
