The RISE programme, initiated by the Department for Education, aims to improve schools with consistently poor Ofsted inspections. It involves RISE advisers, who are educational experts in school improvement. Sapientia Education Trust, through its chief executive Jonathan Taylor, supports “stuck” schools in Norfolk and the Eastern region. The programme provides targeted interventions to eligible schools and offers a universal service to share best practices and encourage peer-to-peer support. Its goal is to improve educational standards and outcomes, breaking the link between young people’s backgrounds and their future success.
